Today, SPJIMR Alumni Network literally 'spans' the Globe. From the 'Batch of Origin' that passed out from the Institute in 1983, to all these batches down the line SPJIMR has reached a cumulative membership of almost 2300 today.
We believe that our alumni are the true ambassadors of SPJIMR and that they are the epitome of the philosophy, beliefs and values that SPJIMR stands for. Their success has done us proud as an institute.
SPJIMR has a dedicated team in the form of Alumni Committee working to create a world class alumni network that maintains a symbiotic relationship between the alma mater and its alumni.
SPJIMR has a tradition of holding a 20 year Reunion every year in the month of December, as part of its annual Alumni reunion initiative, Spandan. Spandan 2008 offered the perfect setting for the Alumni of SPJIMR to reunite with their old friends and catch up on the past.
"Educational institutions are like rivers, students come and go like water, but the river flows in its own course. SPJIMR is like the Ganga of the educational institutes one passes through life. But once one merges into Ganga, he internalises the purity and divineness of it so much that for the rest of the journey, one flows like the Ganga", said Dr. Sesha Iyer, Director, SPJIMR while speaking at Spandan 2008.
